Start when you're ready.

LevelUp Turkish is not tied to a semester or cohort calendar. Once your instructor and regular schedule are confirmed, your 10-week program can begin.

Program timing is coordinated once the learner and schedule are ready. Instructors are assigned from our Turkish teaching team based on availability and program fit.

LevelUp Turkish gives you the academic structure of the Multilingual Future Turkish curriculum in a one-to-one format. You still have a clear progression and defined learning goals — but your instructor can spend more or less time on particular areas depending on your needs. Your pace, practice, examples and communication contexts can be adapted around you.

Most LevelUp learners meet for three 45-minute sessions each week. But private instruction allows the learning rhythm to change when your goals or schedule require it. Your session frequency and learning intensity can be adjusted with your instructor — whether you want a steady long-term pace or a more intensive period of study.

Your goals, learning intensity, availability, desired pace and upcoming deadlines can all shape how your sessions are distributed.

SCHEDULING

A regular schedule — with room for real life.

You and your instructor establish regular class days and times, giving your learning a consistent rhythm. When your schedule changes, upcoming sessions can be moved without penalty as long as you notify your instructor in writing by the end of your previous lesson. You may request to reschedule the next session or multiple upcoming sessions when needed.

From Beginner Low through Intermediate High, you follow the same structured MF curriculum progression used across our adult Turkish programs. The academic spine stays intact — what changes is how it is delivered. In a one-to-one format, your instructor can adapt:

You may be ready for Intermediate Low while still having a few gaps from earlier levels. In LevelUp Turkish, we can target those specific areas without making you repeat an entire course you do not need.

01 / 06 · Beginner Low

Building the Foundation

Build your first functional Turkish.

At Beginner Low, you will build the foundations you need to start communicating in Turkish. You will learn how to form basic sentences, ask and answer everyday questions, describe where things and people are, and talk about what is happening in your daily life.

Everyday life in Türkiye

I would highly recommend Multilingual Future to anyone looking to improve their Turkish language skills. At the consultation, my broad course of study was specially designed around my learning goals. However, my instructor was also anticipatory and flexible, shifting each week’s plan depending on the progress of the last and seeking my feedback on what I wanted to improve. The lessons were designed to be relevant to my daily life upon moving to Turkey – like setting up electricity and water subscriptions and discussing Turkish and American culture with colleagues – which improved my confidence and cultural competence immensely. And, my instructor was engaging, helpful, and kind, even offering to be a source of support while I am in Turkey. I looked forward to my Multilingual Future lessons each week, and I will miss having scheduled times to chat with Elif Hocam!

Advanced & academic Turkish

I spent 12 weeks with Elanur Hoca improving my Turkish at the B2 level. Each lesson was carefully planned and tailored to my needs as a non-native Turkish language learner. For example, we covered relevant grammar and advanced vocabulary to prepare me for future experiences in Turkish academic settings and conversations. Elanur Hoca included topics of interest such as migration, education, and AI for us to discuss. One lesson that stands out to me was the one on AI and its impact on certain occupations; we drew a connection to the past when the camera was invented and how painters must have felt. This discussion made me appreciate how learning a language goes beyond syntax and structure—it can also change the way you reflect on an issue. I feel more prepared to interact with my Turkish colleagues at the university level as I head to Turkey as a Fulbright grantee this fall.

Bring everyday Turkish into your life — even when you're not in Türkiye.

Pseudo-Immersive Context is an optional LevelUp experience designed to recreate some of the everyday language exposure you would naturally encounter while living in Türkiye.

Alongside your live lessons and structured assignments, you join a private WhatsApp learning space with at least two Multilingual Future instructors. Throughout the week, Turkish enters your everyday environment through natural voice notes, photos, short videos, expressions, observations and informal interaction.

You can participate as much as you want — respond, share something from your own day, ask questions, or simply follow along and absorb the language around you.
