Refund & Cancellation Policy — Learn Turkish

EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 10, 2026

This policy applies to Turkish-language programs purchased through the Learn Turkish pages. It is separate from the Turkey-market English-program refund policy.

1. Your statutory rights come first

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law, including any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right that applies to distance contracts where you live. If your local law gives you more than this policy does, your local law applies.

2. Complimentary items

  • Consultations: Free of charge and involve no payment, so nothing is refundable.
  • Turkish Hub preview sessions: Complimentary; you may cancel your reservation at any time at no cost.
  • Placement assessment: Complimentary and creates no purchase obligation.
  • Turkish Playhouse first lesson: The personalized first lesson takes place before any purchase. If your family decides not to continue, it stays complimentary with no obligation and nothing to refund. If your family continues, that lesson counts as Lesson 1 of the 20-lesson program you then purchase.

3. What counts as the start of a paid program

  • Group programs (for example Turkish Hub): The program starts at the first scheduled live meeting of the cohort you enrolled in.
  • Private and semi-private programs (other than Turkish Playhouse): The program starts at the learner's first paid lesson.
  • Turkish Playhouse: The Parent Consultation and personalized first lesson take place before payment, so there is no conventional first paid lesson. If you choose to continue and complete enrollment, the first lesson becomes Lesson 1 of the 20-lesson program. For purposes of this Refund & Cancellation Policy, the paid program begins when you complete enrollment after that first lesson.

A complimentary consultation, a placement assessment, a Turkish Hub preview session, a Turkish Playhouse Parent Consultation and the complimentary Playhouse first lesson before enrollment do not count as the start of a paid program.

4. Cancelling before your program begins

  • 7 or more calendar days before the program start: 100% refund of tuition paid.
  • 1–6 calendar days before the program start: 50% refund of tuition paid.

Email info@multilingualfuture.com before your program start. We confirm your cancellation and the refund amount in writing before processing it, and refunds are returned to the original payment method.

5. Cancelling after your program begins

Once a paid program has begun, payments are generally non-refundable, except where Multilingual Future cancels or cannot provide the purchased service, where a specific written program policy provides otherwise, or where applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Individual missed sessions

A session you do not attend has still been delivered and is not refunded. For group programs, sessions are not repeated individually. For private and semi-private instruction, any published notice or rescheduling arrangement on the program page applies.

7. If we cancel or cannot deliver

If we cancel a program or cannot deliver the purchased service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative acceptable to you, we refund the amount paid for the undelivered portion of the service.

  • Cohort does not run: If a group cohort is cancelled before it begins, you receive a full refund of what you paid for it, or you may move to another available cohort.
  • We stop mid-program: If we cannot deliver the remainder of a program you have paid for, you receive a refund for the undelivered portion.
  • Instructor or schedule change: A qualified instructor substitution or a reasonable schedule adjustment is not itself a refund event. If a change means the program no longer works for you, contact us and we will look at moving you to another cohort or arrangement, or refunding the undelivered portion.

8. Payment plans

A 2-Payment Plan is one program split into exactly two scheduled charges. Choosing it authorizes both charges. Pausing or missing lessons does not postpone the second charge. For Turkish Playhouse specifically, pausing lessons does not pause billing.

If a refund is agreed while a plan is still running, we settle the amount actually due for the delivered portion and cancel or adjust the remaining scheduled charge as part of that agreement.

9. Program-specific notes

  • Turkish Hub: A fixed-term small-group program (10 weeks, 30 live sessions, maximum 8 learners, published cohort schedule). The program start is the cohort's first live meeting; cohort-cancellation refunds are covered in section 7.
  • LevelUp Turkish: Private instruction across tiers, with pay-in-full or 2-payment options. Scheduling is arranged individually; sections 4, 5 and 8 apply.
  • LevelUp Turkish Together: Enrollment is confirmation-first: we confirm the arrangement with you before any payment is taken.
  • Turkish for Significant Others: Private instruction involving a learner and a Turkish-speaking partner, with pay-in-full or 2-payment options; sections 4, 5 and 8 apply.
  • Turkish Playhouse: A complimentary Parent Consultation, then a complimentary personalized first lesson before any enrollment or payment. If your family decides to continue, that lesson becomes Lesson 1 of the 20-lesson program — 20 lessons in total. If your family does not continue, there is no payment obligation.

10. How to request a refund

Email info@multilingualfuture.com from the address used at enrollment, with the learner's name and the program. We confirm receipt, tell you the outcome in writing, and process any agreed refund to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer determines how quickly it appears.
